I've been away from the reserve for 2 weeks and wonder what the baboons have been up. I can see they've been at the clay sites from my trap cameras, but they're no where in sight. Today I'm tying up some loose ends, if they don't come to the dam today, I'll go searching for them tomorrow.
Kruger was amazing. I know some people consider it a "big zoo". It does, however, feel like the animals have freewill to move about as they wish. I loved seeing the lions, leopards & hyenas. I recently read, "Where the Wild Things Were" and it did my heart good to see some predators.
